The Wellington Saints are excited to announce the signing of promising young talent, Lukah Richards, for the upcoming season. Richards, originally from Ōtaki and an alumnus of St. Patrick's College, Wellington, has previously showcased his skills with the Manawatu Jets.

Saints CEO Jordan Mills expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition, stating, "We are looking forward to Lukah putting a Saints singlet on this year. A young man we feel has a lot of talent and upside that we hope to unlock with Coach Aaron. Lukah being from Ōtaki but also spending time at St. Pat's Town has ties to our region and club. After spending time up in Manawatu at the Jets, he's come down to us here to improve his game under a proven talent developer in Aaron Young."
