Yuat Alok to call Saints home in 2024

MILLS ALBERT SAINTS SECURE YUAT ALOK FOR THE 2024 SEASON!

Wellington, 26/1/2024 — The Mills Albert Saints proudly announce the signing of Yuat Alok, an exceptional talent, to bolster their roster for the upcoming 2024 NZ NBL season. Alok brings a unique skill set that promises to elevate the team's performance.

Yuat Alok's basketball journey started in New Zealand being a development player for the NZ Breakers before embarking on a US college career which finished at the highly regarded New Mexico State University in NCAA Division 1. For the past two years Alok has been in Europe playing last season in Cyprus and currently playing in Croatia for Alkar averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds per game including coming off a massive 26 point 9 rebound performance just last week.

General Manager Jordan Mills expressed his excitement, stating, "Yuat is someone we have spoken to over the past few seasons but haven't been able to get him back home to play in New Zealand. An exciting talent currently playing in Croatia we are really excited to get him here and to showcase his talent. His size, length, athleticism and versatility fits the style we want to play under Coach Coronel and is another important piece to our roster we are building which we still have a few more spots to fill."

Standing at 6'11" with an impressive wingspan, Alok is not only a defensive force but also a reliable scoring option.

As the Mills Albert Saints gear up for the 2024 season, the addition of Yuat Alok to the roster reflects the team's commitment to bringing in top-tier talent. Alok's ability to impact both ends of the court and his dedication to continuous improvement make him a valuable asset for the Saints.

The Mills Albert Saints extend a warm welcome to Yuat Alok, and the entire organization is eager to witness his contributions to the team's success. Get ready for a season filled with thrilling basketball action, as the Saints aim to make their mark in the 2024 NZ NBL season!
