Founded by Brendon after purchasing Kiwi Mortgage Market Petone in 2009, The Mortgage and Insurance Shop was launched in April 2014 with a clear vision: to provide tailored, full-service financial advice that puts clients first. Over the past 14 years, the business has evolved from a home-loan specialist into a comprehensive financial advisory service covering home loans, business and commercial lending, personal insurance, and asset and vehicle finance ,while continuing to support clients with ongoing loan servicing such as refixes and top-ups.
With access to more than 20 lenders, insurers, and financial providers, The Mortgage and Insurance Shop takes a bespoke approach to every client, recognising that “one shoe doesn’t fit everyone.” For 95% of clients, their service is provided at no cost, making expert financial advice both accessible and practical.
