Jordan Hunt Signs for 2026

Jordan Hunt Returns Home, Signs with Mills Albert Saints

The Mills Albert Saints are proud to announce the signing of Jordan Hunt, a Hutt Valley product returning home to the club where he began his basketball journey.

Hunt brings a wealth of experience back to the Saints, having played professionally in England and represented New Zealand internationally as a member of the Tall Blacks squad, including selection in last year’s FIBA Asia Cup team. His return marks a significant boost for the Saints as they prepare for the upcoming NZNBL season.

Saints CEO Jordan Mills highlighted the importance of bringing Hunt back to the region.

“Always great to bring home local talent in Jordan Hunt. He’s a proven contributor at the NZNBL level, a floor-stretching big man and a high IQ player. There’s a big year ahead for Jordan to get back healthy and playing at his best, which we’re extremely excited about.”

Hunt’s versatility, shooting ability, and experience at both domestic and international levels are expected to add depth and leadership to the Saints roster, while also inspiring the next generation of Hutt Valley basketball talent.

Saints Head Coach Aaron Young echoed the excitement around the signing.

"Bringing Jordan home was an exciting move from the moment discussions began. From the club's perspective, it was a no-brainer. We understand the impact he can have and have a great deal of respect for what hes achieved in this league. His passion to come home, where it all started, will bring out the best version of him as a player. We are excited to continue supporting his development as a high-level professsional."

The Mills Albert Saints look forward to welcoming Jordan Hunt back in blue as the team builds toward a strong 2026 campaign.
