Izayah Le'Afa Returns For Season 6

Izayah Le'afa Returns for Sixth Season with the Mills Albert Saints
The Mills Albert Saints are excited to announce the re-signing of Izayah Le'afa, who will return for his sixth season in Saints colours.
A proud Wellingtonian, Le'afa has become a key part of the Saints program and culture. He played an important role in the club’s 2025 championship-winning team, bringing leadership, toughness, and elite two-way play to the roster.
Known for his sharp shooting, tenacious defence, and relentless competitiveness, Le'afa continues to establish himself as one of New Zealand’s premier guards. A current NZ Breakers player and Tall Black, “Zay” brings valuable professional and international experience back to the Saints each season.
Le'afa is currently recovering from a broken foot, with his rehabilitation progressing well. The club looks forward to seeing him back on the court once he has fully recovered.
Saints CEO Jordan Mills says re-signing Le'afa is always a priority.
“Bringing back Zay is always a high priority for us every year. He genuinely cares about our club and gives everything on and off the floor to help make us successful.
He’s one of the best two-way players in our country, and we’re privileged to have him back leading our team.”
The Saints look forward to welcoming Le'afa back as the club prepares for the upcoming season.
