Saints dominate Bulls in statement win at Te Rauparaha Arena
The Wellington Saints produced one of their most complete performances of the season on Sunday night, dominating the Franklin Bulls at Te Rauparaha Arena.
From the opening quarter, the Saints controlled the game on both ends of the floor. Ball movement was sharp, defensive pressure was high, and the energy inside Te Rauparaha Arena lifted the group early.
Wellington continued to build throughout the game, consistently finding scoring options while limiting the Bulls’ ability to generate momentum. The Saints controlled the tempo, executed well offensively, and stayed disciplined defensively across all four quarters.
The lead continued to grow through the middle stages as the Saints piled on scoreboard pressure. Transition scoring, defensive stops, and efficient shooting allowed Wellington to take complete control of the contest.
The Saints never let up in the second half, maintaining their intensity and closing out a commanding home win in front of a strong Porirua crowd.
It was a complete team performance and another strong step forward as the Saints continue building momentum through the Sal’s NBL season.
