Chunga Re-Signs with Mills Albert Saints for 2026 Season

The Mills Albert Saints are thrilled to announce the re-signing of one of New Zealand’s brightest young prospects, Aubrey Chunga, for the 2026 NZNBL season.

The Year 13 student at HIBS continues to take significant strides in his basketball journey and is set to embrace a larger role with the Saints this year. After gaining valuable experience within the Saints environment, Chunga is ready to contribute on a weekly basis and further showcase his rapidly developing skillset.

Fresh off a gold medal performance at the Oceania U17 Tournament—where New Zealand defeated Australia in the final—Chunga has gone from strength to strength. His standout performances on the international stage highlighted his growth, competitiveness, and ability to perform in high-pressure moments.
