Aubrey Chunga returns to the Mills Albert Saints in 2026 as one of the most exciting young prospects in New Zealand basketball.

A dynamic guard and proud local product, Chunga has steadily progressed through the Saints programme while balancing his final year at HIBS. Known for his poise beyond his years, he combines speed, skill and a strong defensive presence with the confidence to step up in big moments.

Chunga recently played a key role in New Zealand’s gold medal campaign at the Oceania U17 Tournament, where the Kiwis defeated Australia in the final. His performances on the international stage showcased his competitiveness, high basketball IQ and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.

Now entering the 2026 NZNBL season, Chunga is set to take on an expanded role within the Saints squad. With valuable experience already under his belt and his development accelerating, he represents the next generation of elite local talent coming through the club.
