Biography

Jordan Hunt is a skilled and versatile big man who brings international experience, shooting range, and high basketball IQ to the Mills Albert Saints.

A proud Hutt Valley High School product, Hunt returns to Wellington in a homecoming nine years in the making, having last represented the Saints in 2017. His return is not only significant for the club but for the wider Hutt Valley basketball community that helped shape his development.

Since his previous stint with the Saints, Hunt has built an impressive professional résumé overseas in England, competing at a high level in the British Basketball League. He has also represented New Zealand on the international stage as a member of the Tall Blacks, including selection for the FIBA Asia Cup squad, highlighting his standing among the country’s elite basketball talent.

On the court, Hunt is known for his ability to stretch the floor with his shooting, protect the rim when needed, and play with composure and intelligence in critical moments. His versatility allows him to impact the game in multiple ways, while his experience makes him a valuable leader both on and off the court.

As the Saints build toward the 2026 NZNBL season, Hunt’s return in blue is set to strengthen the roster and inspire the next generation of Wellington and Hutt Valley basketball players.
