The Wellington Saints have signed rtheir first import for the Sal's NBL 2020 season in Kyle Adnam.
Head Coach Coronel says "Kyle is a very pleasing addition - he made a significant positive impact on the fortunes of the Nelson Giants when he previously played for them in the NZ NBL, and since then has gone from strength to strength in the Australian NBL. He’s had a number of big games for Southeast Melbourne this season. He’s also a tremendous person, so I’m confident he’ll fit with our group well."
Over the last few years Kyle has seen success in the ANBL winning a championship with Melbourne United 2017/18 before moving onto teh Sydney Kings and his current team, South Eastern Melbourne Phoenix who Adnam played his 100th ANBL game for.
CEO, Jordan Mills is excited about the signing saying " We are very excited to add a player the caliber of Kyle, he’s obviously shown here in NZ what sort of player he can be playing in the past in Nelson but think he will take it to another level with us here at the Saints this season. He embodies what we look for off the floor as well, fits our clubs culture and values and look forward to getting him here"
