Cameron Returns to the Saints 14 Jan 2015

Pero Cameron insists there are "no hard feelings" after accepting an offer to return as coach of the Wellington Saints on a one-year deal.

The former Tall Blacks star coached Wellington to two National Basketball League titles between 2010-13 but the Saints decided to advertise the job after a star-studded squad crashed out of the 2013 semifinals.

While Cameron was invited to reapply, Australian legend Shane Heal was appointed coach and led the Saints to last year's championship.

But Heal decided in November that one year was his lot, which opened the door for a Cameron return after his Waikato Pistons withdrew from this year's NBL.
