Who was the Saints most valuable player in 2010

Locker Room

Pero Cameron

Description

Pero is a player who dominates the court through athletic ability and sheer size. While playing in the power forward position, Pero possesses a guard's vision and passing ability. He is a consistent points scorer.

Pero's first sport was Rugby League (his uncle played for Warrington a few years back) but his mother Mata, who was the assistant coach of the Northland Suns in 1996, encouraged him to take up basketball. While at Whangarei Boys High School Pero helped the Northland side win the second division title in 1991.

Wide body, which allows him to play very close to the basket. Good passer, many screens. Can score when needed, but I would not rely on his shooting skills too much. Can play both close and very far from the rim. Can hit even 3-pointer. Very "cold" approach to the game. Never gives up. If he misses 3 shots in a row, he keeps shooting anyway.

Cameron has won an amazing nine NBL Titles and will look to get win his 10th as a player and first as a coach
