Leon Henry is one of the most athletic players currently in the NBL. Henry has been a member of the Saints franchise since 2007 and is a starter for the Saints in the 2010 season.

In the first game of the season Henry scored 29 points in the romp over Manawatu Jets. In the 2009 playoffs against the Bay Hawks Henry nailed two fourth quarter threes to seal the victory.

Henry was a member of the 2009 Tall Blacks Team that won the Oceana Championships, defeating Australia.
