Troy McLean has had a fantastic career with the Saints franchise dating back since 1996 when he played one game as a 17 year old.

McLean has gone on to play over two hundred games for the Saints franchise and has averaged over 11 points in his career.

Known for his excellent three point shooting McLean was a member of the Tall Blacks team that won a silver medal in the Melbourne Commonwealth Games.

In 2003 McLean was a member of the Saints championship team that beat the Waikato Titans.
